Updated 02.05.01 Hey everybody, First of all, I'd like to thank you for visiting the site here ... we sincerely hope that it's been worth your while ... and that it continues to be an interesting place to drop in on. Back in the USA for nine months now, after fourteen years in Tokyo ... whew! I still have a lot of catching up to do, but things are beginning to take shape. I'm intimately associated with Bang! Music here in Virginia. Aside from being a top flight retail outfit for all music related gear, they have a highly motivated educational program and expanding facilities for nationally recognized clinicians. Make sure to visit their site as well (see links), especially if you are planning an important purchase of an instrument or audio related unit. We are getting Small Wonder Studio permanently installed in it's new location ... doing the necessary modifications to the rooms and upgrading and testing the gear. With that in place, I can get back to finishing off the piles of new material I have that are just waiting to be heard. In the meantime, I will release the Varanasi, mini album I did with longtime collaborator Herman Bartelen, a fun sort of percussion-based adventure (some of our other work can be heard my brother's Book of Flame as well). Herman and I will also be releasing a companion CD just as soon as I can sit down and mix it. My next solo album, "Metropolis" is about 70-80% in the can and I'm eager to resume work on this project and get it out to you as well. Livewise, I'll be sitting in with area bands from time to time, as well as doing solo guitar shows wherever they'll have me ...
